Brighton's Big Screen Cinema Mobile App & Marketing
The outdoor cinema offers seaside-goers the chance to watch live sport, blockbuster, classic, family movies, documentaries & local filmmakers on a gigantic 40sqm screen.
There was a jam-packed programme that kicked off with a launch party featuring: Top Djs, MC’sA fully licensed bar, a great range of quality food and seated grandstand.
The team at Hove Digital were asked to develop a mobile app for Brighton’s Big Screen Cinema event. The main purpose was to engage with customers that were visiting or planning to visit the event; offer an easy way to purchase tickets, receive news and provide updates on schedules.
Mobile App
We created an Android and iPhone Native App that included some of the following features:
- Purchase tickets for all events & films
- Loyalty cards, check in’s & QR scanning for discounts & free stuff
- Coupons with discounts from sponsors
- Competitions with prizes
- GPS integration to easily find the event on the beach
- Photo galleries
- News, updates, offers and give aways via push notifications
- Brighton’s Big Screen social media
- Message centre for direct contact with organisers

We created both print and online marketing material along with tools for Brightons’ Big Screen team to utilise:
